Lumenpulse Named to the 12th Annual PROFIT HOT 50 of Top New Growth Companies
Lumenpulse Inc. (www.lumenpulse.com), a leading innovator and manufacturer of high performance, architectural LED-based lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments, today announced that it was ranked #17 in the 12th annual PROFIT HOT 50 ranking, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies. Published in the October issue of PROFIT magazine and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT HOT 50 ranks young firms by two-year revenue growth.
As noted here in July, Lumenpulse’s first showing at Lightfair this year caused quite a stir. Founded in 2006, Lumenpulse is establishing a leadership position within the multibillion-dollar LED fixtures market based on significant demand for its award-winning products. Key landmark projects such as BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Montreal’s Contemporary Art Museum, the Yale-New Haven Hospital atrium and BMW US Headquarters in New York all chose Lumenpulse fixtures. Earlier this month, Lumenpulse completed a $16 million funding round to be used to support growth and to extend international market and product development.
“The PROFIT HOT 50 exhibits all the traits that underpin business success,” says PROFIT editor Ian Portsmouth. “With good products, persistent and focused leaders and motivated teams, Canada’s Top New Growth Companies have achieved enviable growth rates despite a shaky economy.”
And even with a shaky economy, Lumenpulse have been able to secure another $16 million of financing to fund their market and product development extension plans.
“Being included in the PROFIT HOT 50 is an honour and also indicative of the winning product and market strategies implemented since our inception in 2006,” says François-Xavier Souvay, Founder, President and CEO of Lumenpulse. “It continues the trend of product award wins and high profile customer wins, which demonstrates the market demand for our Architectural LED luminaires. By combining product design and LED technology expertise, our products help architects, designers and engineers create impressive illumination solutions for commercial urban and public spaces like hospitals, museums, shopping areas, sports facilities and many other landmarks.”
