iGuzzini lab accredited by CQC China

The CQC (China Quality Certification Centre) has recognised and accredited iGuzzini’s technical laboratory in Recanati  according to the WMT IECEE (Worldwide System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrotechnical Equipment and Components) procedure, for the purposes of issuing the CCC (China Compulsory Certification) mark in accordance with IEC standards.

This is a very important step forward for lighting companies who want to sell their products in China. Not only is it the first private laboratory belonging to a non-Chinese company to achieve this accreditation, it is also the first lighting company to do so.

There was also a renewal of WMT accreditation by IMQ (first granted in 1992) and DEMKO-UL (added in 2010), for issuing the ENEC mark and adherence to the CTDP UL program (first accreditation in 2004), for issuing the UL mark. The IMQ and UL accreditations also include the photometric laboratory.

The WMT and CTDP accreditations state that the iGuzzini laboratory is able to operate according to international test laboratory quality standards (ISO IEC 17025) and to autonomously carry out all tests designed to assess product compliance with the regulations applicable practically worldwide, and consequently it can ask the appointed institutions to issue approval marks based on the tests it carries out.

These accreditations guarantee the reliability of their products for customers all over the world.
