Home Lighting from HGTV Celeb Designer Taniya Nayak
Wayfair, an e-commerce website that carries the largest selection of home products anywhere, has launched a new, exclusive home lighting line with interior designer and TV personality Taniya Nayak. The new line, called Taniya Nayak Lighting, includes wall sconces, pendants, flush-mounts, and chandeliers handpicked by Nayak for their overall design appeal and affordability. This is the first exclusive celebrity home lighting line for Wayfair.com.
More than 200 Taniya Nayak Lighting options appear on the site, with more expected in 2012. The new line has already been well received by Wayfair shoppers looking to spruce up their homes. The Wayfair-Nayak partnership was a natural fit, given Taniya’s passion for interior design and upbeat personality, paired with Wayfair’s mission to be the online favorite for buying anything for your home.
“I chose lighting that could instantly breathe new life into a room, without having to design or remodel everything from the ground up,” Nayak said. “It’s important to find one or two fixtures that can brighten up your space, regardless of your design style. And that’s exactly what the new collection accomplishes. The lighting is very affordable, too, which is most important.”
Taniya Nayak Lighting has popular selections that include modern wall sconces for as little as $25, pendants starting at $50, and traditional bronze chandeliers for $75. Most of her larger items range from $140 to $2,800.

The home lighting line is only the first celebrity product partnership for Wayfair and Nayak. They hope to expand on the Taniya Nayak brand in the future by adding furniture, cookware, and other home-related items.
