Fulham Supports Lights On Afterschool
Fulham Co., Inc., a global supplier of electronic fluorescent ballasts, LED drivers, transformers, emergency lighting systems, and more, proudly supported the Afterschool Alliance’s nationwide Lights On Afterschool Program through a donation of energy-saving, high-output ThoroLED Brand LED PAR lamps.
Lights On Aftercchool’s goal is to increase enthusiasm for quality afterschool programs, particularly for students who would have otherwise gone unsupervised after the school day ended. Research suggests that students in afterschool programs are more likely to improve their grades, test scores, and overall academic behavior.
The October 2011 event included more than 1 million Americans in 7500 communities and is the only nationwide rally for afterschool programs.
