acdc, the UK’s leading specialist in long-life architectural LED and cold cathode lighting solutions, announced that it has been named a winner of the country’s most prestigious award for business performance – the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2012.

acdc won the award for the first time for its outstanding achievement in overseas earnings, recording an overall growth of 90% over the 3 year period. • the Burj Al Arab – the worlds’ most luxurious hotel, also in Dubai
  • Bitexco Tower – the largest building towering over Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at an impressive 68 storeys high
  • Marina Bay Sands – a world-class luxury casino and hotel complex in Singapore
  • The recently opened Olympics Bridges in London.

This puts us amongst the most successful of UK businesses. The dedication of all our employees to ensuring we continue to meet our aim of producing the most innovative and industry-leading lighting solutions available is recognized with this award from the Queen, and we look forward to an even brighter success in the future.”

In addition to a network of over 60 distribution partners worldwide, acdc has a satellite office in Dubai servicing the Middle East and beyond, and is set to open a London studio this spring.
